Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of the LicenseVault website and the products sold through it. By placing an order you agree to these Terms.

1. What we sell

LicenseVault sells genuine Microsoft software product keys and Microsoft 365 subscriptions. Licenses are sourced lawfully within the EU single market in accordance with the Court of Justice ruling in UsedSoft GmbH v. Oracle International Corp. (Case C-128/11) and subsequent jurisprudence on the exhaustion of distribution rights.

2. Orders & delivery

Orders are processed automatically. Product keys and download links are delivered to the email address provided at checkout, typically within 30 minutes. Delivery times of up to 24 hours may apply for manual-verification orders.

3. Lifetime activation guarantee

Every product key is covered by a lifetime activation guarantee for as long as Microsoft supports the underlying product. If a key fails to activate against Microsoft's servers, we will replace it free of charge once you provide a screenshot of the activation error.

4. Refunds

Because digital product keys are consumed on first activation, EU Directive 2011/83/EU permits us to disclaim the right of withdrawal once the key has been delivered AND you have expressly consented to immediate delivery. Our specific refund policy — including non-activated keys, double-purchases and wrong-edition orders — is published at /refund-policy.

5. Prohibited use

You may not resell keys purchased from LicenseVault, use academic or NFR keys for commercial purposes, or use any key in a manner that breaches Microsoft's product use rights.

6. Liability

LicenseVault's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product. We are not liable for indirect losses (downtime, lost profits, data loss) arising from the use or misuse of any product.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the member state where LicenseVault is established. Consumer rights granted by your country of residence are not affected.
